RELIABUILD is a new innovative online trade directory. It is our aim to provide the public with information on reliable tradesman in their area and to list great traders who prove that there is an alternative to the ‘cowboys’. We thought it would be great if there is a website that could put the public in touch with local, reliable businesses and tradesmen whose work had been checked out - a website that is as good as a personal recommendation. So, we made it our mission to create a trusted online directory when looking for tradesmen - not just for emergency 'out of hours' jobs but for any job, anytime.
Our 'Leave a Review' facility allows the consumer, to rate the work of the tradesperson or business listed. The concept is pretty simple in that we aim to provide the public with an easy to use no strings attached web platform where they can find RELIABLE tradesmen. A platform that lists contact details of reliable rated tradesmen in their area BUT more so, a platform that offers the end user (public) the opportunity to rate their experience and allow them to leave a review.
Basically our approach is exactly the OPPOSITE of the complaints website ‘Hello-Peter’, with the aim to promote honest hard working tradesmen and to provide positive and constructive feedback rather than negative and destructive commentary. If poor ratings or complaints are received, we will check it out, get the facts, evaluate the situation and if deemed necessary we would simply de-list a trader who acts like ‘the cowboy’ with a pro-rata listing refund. NO DRAMA.
Reliabuild simply wishes to provide traders with an affordable listing option without interfering with their line of business and expertise, AND to establish an online media platform WHERE THE PUBLIC CAN TURN TO, KNOWING THAT THEY WILL NOT BE RIPPED OFF.
How do we make our money then? Simple! …we are not greedy! We are merely utilizing our expertise to up the traffic ranking behind the scenes, ultimately creating a trusted trade directory with a WIN WIN approach for all users, be it the public, advertisers or the tradesmen.
We strongly believe that we are living in exponential times and that broadcaster’s and media content providers should respond and position themselves best to exploit opportunities brought by changes in technology and regulation.
Coming from the publishing and retail background, HEIDI established herself in the online-media environment for the past 3 years gaining invaluable expertise and knowledge not to mention superb connections with international web developers. Currently based in the UK, MARK exceeded in the construction industry. With the international resession that started towards the end of 2007, he invested in a cleaning, & sealing business CLEAN-SEAL in the UK. Together they aim to take their expertise and experience to provide a platform where the honest business- and tradesmen of SA can exhibit their skils, expertise and services offered.
Reliabuild launched Monday 4 Feb 2013 with 5 traders. The page views already exceeds 600 views with a 5.18 page / visit rate averaging around 8 min per visit. These stats pulled over 4 days with 5 listings only! This alone should give you an idea of what we can do behind the scenes!
